Dyersburg State Community College

New to the school, this focus as part of the Business Program is geared towards students seeking immediate employment in logistics. In the upcoming year, it will be eligible for ACBSP accreditation.

Southwest Tennessee Community College

  • Supply Chain Management Fundamentals

Complete this course in just six weeks to develop forecasting, production scheduling, material resource planning, and capacity management skills. Options for an instructor-led or self-paced format are available. 

  • Distribution and Logistics Management

Another six-week course deepens supply chain knowledge through lessons on cost reduction, increased customer satisfaction skills, and time-saving strategies. 

  • Manufacturing Application

Purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and market analysis are all covered in this six-week course. Discover the ins and outs of manufacturing strategy.

University of Memphis

  • B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management 

Graduates of this robust program take courses in buyer/seller relationships, international communication, operations management, information technology, and more. This degree is perfect for those seeking a long-term career in logistics.

Middle Tennessee

  • A.A.S. in Business with Logistics and Supply Chain Management Concentration

Graduates of this program will understand supervision and coordination, traffic management, and entertainment touring, reflecting the tourism culture and infrastructure focus of nearby Nashville. 

Nashville State Community College

  • Logistics Technical Certificate

Progressive in the respective order, this program covers everything from analytical tools to leverage within the supply chain to ethical and legal issues and everything in between. These certificates are beneficial to those just getting started or looking to advance their logistics knowledge.

Tennessee State University 

  • Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management

Students who follow this path of study learn the technology and management necessary for success in a supply chain or logistics career.

Middle Tennessee State University 

  • M.S. of Management, Supply Chain Management Focus

As one of two focuses in Management, this degree encourages strong decision-making, ethics, communications, and more. Qualifying applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

East Tennessee

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certification Program

Students are prepared for the high-demand, high-impact environment of the supply chain. Qualifying applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or are in the engineering program and have met the required prerequisites. 

Chattanooga State Community College

  • CDL-A Driver Certificate

This seven-week program requires 222 hours to complete and will help graduates prepare for the state exam.

  • CDL-B Driver Certificate

This is a three-week program for students to obtain their CDL-B license. 

  • Freight Brokerage Courses

The 80-hour course allows students to gain hands-on deeper insights into the 3PL world and prepare for their careers in the supply chain. 

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville

Undergrads should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with specific prerequisites in their studies to advance to the following supply chain programs:
