Article overview

KCH Transportation is proud to announce the opening of its fifth office in Tampa, Florida! The team has been in Tampa working remotely for just over a month, and this morning the brick-and-mortar doors finally opened.

“We’re thrilled to be growing at such a rapid pace,” said president and CEO Jason Whitten. “Maritime and manufacturing are two of the largest industries in the Tampa marketplace, and our new office will bring strategic business and talent opportunities for KCH Transportation.”

“Our primary focus is building a strong relationship with our customers,” stated Whitten. “By immersing our brand in the culture of a port city, we’re better able to connect with our business partners.”

By mid-month, the new Florida office is expected to open its doors for the Tampa team.

KCH Transportation Values

KCH Transportation teams pride themselves on the quantity and quality of services they can offer to every customer, big or small. From LTL to intermodal, drayage to specialized loads, and everything in between, KCH offers a solution for virtually every type of load.

Though KCH Transportation offices are currently located in the Southeast, our teams offer elite-level services across the United States.

KCH Transportation Background

Though the idea of a 3PL entered the scene in the 1980s, it wasn’t until the last 10-15 years that the supply chain fully embraced the benefits of the third-party, outsourcing business model. As of 2022, there are more than 20,000 third-party logistics companies in the United States.

Proving that archaic practices must adapt to survive, the KCH name has withstood the test of time while evolving with industry culture and the infamous COVID-19. Once a trucking company founded almost two decades ago, KCH Transportation is now a third-party logistics company based in Chattanooga, TN, boasting 5 offices in the Southeast, with 2 additional offices in the west set to open in early 2023.
