Examine and save all required carrier compliance documentation in operating system
Apply applicable transportation service provider information into operating system
Routinely audit transportation service providers for changes in safety information, licensure, insurance, and other relevant information.
Approve, reject, or limit transportation service providers based on analysis of documentation, internal policies, and other industry information – notify appropriate parties of decision when applicable
Escalate issues to team leader when unsure how to proceed
Ensure continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service both internally and externally
Maintain an operational awareness of the rules, regulations, and laws that govern transportation throughout the United States
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of the DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations
Ability to identify and solve problems, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
Work with little or no supervision, and work well in a team setting
Excellent communication, time management, and strong attention to detail
Ability to assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of efficient procedures and best practices
