IT Assistant

Duties / Responsibilites

  • Provide Helpdesk support by diagnosing and resolving computer- related problems involving hardware (including Servers, Windows desktops, phones, etc.), software, VPN connectivity, printing problems, system failures, IP telephony, and other technology related issue- escalate tickets as needed.
  • Create and/or distribute reports through SQL SSRS, Excel and other reporting systems.
  • Maintain content database for B2B website and inventory-based ERP system via Python (preferred) Excel or SQL.
  • Assist in reaching and maintaining an acceptable level of hardware and software performance for the Operations and Sales teams within KCH at every branch location.
  • Assist in relocating and/or building and configuring network infrastructure at new branch locations, as needed.


  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform and think critically through the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description above.
  • Previous computer/device and application support experience.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, problem resolution, TCP/IP networking and Active Directory familiarity.
  • Advanced Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server 2012+, Hyper-V, SQL Server 2012+, Office 365, SharePoint, MS Office applications, especially Access and Excel.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Excel required and SQL and/or Python programming experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a help desk or IT support role preferred.
