The Market Analyst Specialist will assist in collecting external market data, analytics, customer, and industry trends to identify potential threats and opportunities that may impact the overall success of the company. This role will also be responsible for making strategical pricing recommendations based on current, past and future predicted market conditions. The position is responsible researching and analyzing current market condition and forecasting trends, assessing the potential for business opportunities as they relate to sales, solutions, marketing, and operations. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to excel in gathering and leveraging internal and external customer data, utilizing web analytics tools, and communicating findings in a clear and comprehensive manner.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of the freight industry, including processes, operations, KPI’s, economic impacts.
