Operations Rep

Duties / Responsibilites

  • Coordinate and track shipments with shippers, operations teams, carriers & truck drivers, and receivers on behalf of customers
  • Address time-sensitive issues, roadblocks, and delays with shipments in daily operations
  • Ensure clear and concise communication & updates with customers and business partners in a timely manner to solidify relationships and promote business growth
  • Analyze statistics to forecast and identify potential areas of improvement
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of daily responsibilities and perform other duties as required by management

Requirements

  • Must be both self-motivated & able to work well as a team member
  • Must have strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Excel
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
