KCH Transportation is dedicated to service, not just with supply chain solutions, but through our commitment to giving back. In 2022, we launched the KCH Cares program, an initiative to support local organizations and give back to those within our community.
During 2022, we started the first annual KCH Cares Food Drive, where we were able to donate thousands of items. Our dedication to surrounding communities continued into 2023 with the second annual KCH Cares community food drive. During the week we donated a total of 7,396 items to seven local food banks.
We believe in the power of giving back, especially during the holiday season. This year, KCH Transportation is proud to share the success of our Christmas program, where we extended a helping hand to families in need during the holiday season.
Spreading holiday cheer and making spirits bright
This season, we sponsored 7 families, 5 kids, and 1 mother, to ensure they have a memorable Christmas. We provided essential clothing items such as jackets, shoes, and socks as well as various entertainment gifts like basketballs and video games.
The sponsored families will enjoy a nice Christmas meal and be relieved of holiday expenses. We provided them with non-perishable food items and gift cards for perishable goods. We were also able to contribute a television and microwave. In addition, our Nashville Branch made a generous donation to the Monroe Children’s Hospital.
Our efforts to spread holiday cheer extended throughout KCH’s branches. The Augusta branch showed its commitment to making a difference by sponsoring three families through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
Supporting and impacting our community
Thanks to the generosity of the KCH team, we successfully raised $1,800 for the sponsored families. We also continued ringing in the holiday cheer by supporting 50 additional families through our local Ronald McDonald House charity in Chattanooga.

KCH Cares’ ultimate goal is to spread love, warmth, and joy to families during the festive season. This initiative wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our dedicated team members who embrace the spirit of giving.
As we celebrate the season of giving, we’re proud to have made a difference in our community and look forward to continuing to support and uplift organizations in the coming year.
